SAN DIEGO (Staff Report)–On this Mother’s Day, Megan Spector’s mom, Sheri, is schepping nachas that her daughter is playing an orphan.
Little Orphan Annie, that is.
The youngster has the lead role in the Pickwick Players production of Annie at the Moxie Theatre, 6663 El Cajon Blvd.
The production being shown tonight (May 9) and May 14, 15, and 16, also stars Brett Daniels as Oliver Warbucks, and a trio of Williamses — Dawn Marie, Alisa and Michael –respectively in the roles of Miss Hannigan, Grace Farrell, and Rooster Hannigan. Doug Shattuck plays President Roosevelt.
Alisa Williams also is the choreographer, Raylene Wall the director, and Kirk Valles the musical director.
