CHULA VISTA, California (Press Release)–Temple Beth Sholom is hosting two upcoming events. On Friday, Jan. 20th at 7:30 p.m., a member of the Israeli consulate will speak about Israel, Iran and Gaza. This will take place during regular Friday Shabbat services. The second event is a symposium on Happiness. Drs. Julio Armenta, Mark Kapolowitz, and Rabbi Michael Leo Samuel will present the perspectives of Freud, Spinoza, and Modern Judaism.
