JCC used book sale set for June 11-15

Lawrence Family JCC logoLA JOLLA, California (Press Release) – A diverse assortment of used books will be available during the Annual Used Book Sale to benefit the Samuel and Rebecca Astor Judaica Library, which will be held from June 11-15 at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, Jacobs Family Campus, 4126 Executive Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037.

There will be a special early-bird shopping opportunity on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to noon with a $20 entrance fee for participation.  Afterward, general admission is free.

Limited free on-site parking available.

Open for shopping:

Wednesday, June 11– noon – 9:00 p.m.,

Thursday, June 12–  7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.,

Friday, June 13 — 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.,

Sunday, June 15– 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 15th will be a Bargain Bag Sale!  Everything (excluding specially-priced items and art) that you can fit into a brown paper grocery bag is yours for $10 or a plastic grocery bag for $5.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Samuel and Rebecca Astor Judaica Library at the Lawrence Family JCC.  The library includes approximately 16,000 volumes of Judaic and educational resources.
