(Tune : When the Red, Red, Robin Comes Bob, Bob Bobbin Along)

I’ve been sobbin ‘bout the death of Robin, today, today.
I’ll recall the laughter, for ever after, oy veh, oy veh,
Retell, retell his funny jokes,

For all, for all us mourning folks.
Ad lib, ad lib, if he awoke.
He’d smile, laugh, and be happy.

It’s another bummer, in a terrible summer
Please, oh, please!
I’ve been crying; there’s so much dying
From wars, disease.

Don’t succumb to sadness
From such global madness.
Just rent DVDs!

And let the good will Robin,
Relieve the pain that’s throbbin’─ with glee, with glee.
