Obama to make Iran webcast to Jewish community

jewish Federation of SD CountySAN DIEGO (Press Release) – As intense discussions regarding the Iran nuclear agreement continue, President Barack Obama will address the San Diego Jewish community on Friday, August 28 at 11:10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

President Obama will participate in a live webcast to deliver remarks to and take questions from participants across the United States and Canada in an event co-sponsored by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and The Jewish Federations of North America. Previously, the two groups have hosted webcasts and forums on the Iran nuclear agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Dore Gold and former IDF Head of Military Intelligence Amos Yadlin.

President Obama will deliver his remarks from the White House, with viewers able to tune in via computers and cell phones. Participation is free, and those interested in joining can register at www.jewishfederations.org/president.
