    What good is any agreement if it is only observed by one side. Israel has given up land in exchange for certain accommodations by the Palestinians. Israel no longer has that land, but the Palestinians never held up their end of the bargain. Until there is a sea change attitude on the part of the Palestinians, negotiating is a wast of time for Israel, but good PR fodder for the Palestinians. Keep in mind “occupied territory” to the Palestinians means all of Israel.
