San Diego Padres to host Jewish community

SAN DIEGO (Press Release) —  The Jewish Federation of San Diego County has announced the return of Jewish Community Day at Petco Park with the San Diego Padres on August 21, 2016 at 1:40 p.m.. In partnership with Jewish organizations and synagogues throughout the country, the community will enjoy a day of food, entertainment, and, of course, San Diego Padres baseball.

Attendees with enjoy delicious catered food, live music and entertainment, and giveaways as part of the Jewish community’s VIP tailgate party at the park prior to game time. This family friendly event will also include activities for kids such as Compadres Kids Pre-Game Photo Day, Compadres Kids Run the Bases, and KidsFest in Park at the Park.

Last year more than 700 members of the Jewish community came out to celebrate Jewish Community Day and to cheer on the San Diego Padres and once again Federation is joining a number of local Jewish organizations and congregations to bring together the community like only the Padres can.
