SAN DIEGO (SDJW) —“Tapestry: A Community Celebration of Jewish Learning Under One Roof” will be hosted by the Lawrence Family JCC, 4126 Executive Drive, La Jolla, at 7 p.m., Saturday January 7 beginning with Havdallah and followed by two 55-minute class sessions, and a dessert reception.
Organized by the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture, eleven classes will be taught during each 55-minute session by instructors ranging from lay persons to rabbis representing several denominations of Judaism. Admittance to the classes will be on a first-come, first-served basis, for those who register on-line at www.sdcjc.org/tap . If any spaces are available thereafter, they may be signed up for at 6:30 p.m. the evening of the event. Cost is $36 for those who pre-register, $50 for those who register that night.
