SDJW editor’s heart surgery may delay publication

Donald H. Harrison

SAN DIEGO (SDJW)– Publication of San Diego Jewish World may be delayed or inconsistent in the coming weeks as Donald H. Harrison, who serves as co-publisher, editor, and webmaster, recuperates from open heart surgery.

Harrison will undergo valve replacement and bypass surgery on Monday, Feb. 6, and is expected to convalesce at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for up to a week.

“If I’m able, I will edit stories on my laptop,” Harrison said. “But if that is not possible, I hope readers will be patient with me and keep checking the website for renewed coverage of Jewish affairs as well as news of San Diego, the nation and the world.”
