Another bomb hoax, swastikas aimed at S.D. Jews

SAN DIEGO (SDJW) — The fourth hoax bomb scare of 2017 was communicated on Wednesday to the Lawrence Family JCC– this time by email. Police with bomb sniffing dogs arrived on the scene after 11 a.m. and pronounced the JCC free from danger. Michael Cohen said following a preliminary search, the JCC facilities remained open.

At the University of San Diego, earlier in the week, swastikas were found in men’s bathrooms, and a bag of feces reportedly was left by the door of a Jewish professor and rabbi, Shai Cherry. USD officials, who are investigating, denounced the anti-Semitic bigotry.
