SAN DIEGO — There once was a POTUS named Trump                                                                 Who incited the crowds on the stump.                                                                                             Wanted absolute loyalty
As if he were royalty                                                                                                                               Treating everyone else like a chump.
*

There once was a general named Flynn                                                                                               Who helped the President win.
He demanded that Hillary
Be placed in a pillory.                                                                                                                                                                          Concealing his lobbyist sins.
*

There once was an AG named Sessions                                                                                                                                        Recused for his indiscretions
About Russian meetings
Claimed memory fleeting,
But Mueller will ask the same questions.
*

There once was a director named Comey
Who wasn’t the President’s homie.
He ignored his instructions
For justice obstructions.
“Lordy I’m honest, and, Trump doesn’t own me.”
*
There once was a speaker named Ryan.
Who excused his leader for lying:
“He’s new to the game                                                                                                                                                                         So he’s not to blame.”
You can’t stop a toady from trying.
