El Al names planes for Israeli cities

NEW YORK (Press Release)–The President of EL AL Israel Airlines recently met with Israeli Mayors whose cities’ names adorn the airline’s fleet.  At the meeting, EL AL President Elyezer Shkedy presented each mayor with a model of the plane that bears the name of their city.

As the national airline of Israel, every plane is named after an Israeli city and the Star of David proudly appears on the tail of all EL AL aircraft.
