JERUSALEM (Press Release) – The Knesset’s Committee for Aliyah, Absorption and Diaspora, headed by MK Yoel Razvozov visited Nefesh B’Nefesh offices on Tuesday morning, Feb. 18. The committee toured the various departments of the organization and was able to experience the organization’s activities to encourage and increase Aliyah from North America firsthand.
Various options to enhance the cooperation between Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Knesset were discussed at the meeting, as well as the parliamentary assistance required to encourage Aliyah from North America and help expedite the absorption process.
At the conclusion of the tour, Committee Chairman MK Yoel Razvozov, commented: “It is plain to see that there is significant work being done here to encourage Aliyah. Nefesh B’Nefesh’s efforts are appreciated and clearly invaluable, and it is vital to support the organization’s efforts in encouraging Aliyah”
Erez Halfon, Vice Chairman of Nefesh B’Nefesh, welcomed the committee and said, “Nefesh B’Nefesh” stands in constant contact with the Knesset’s Committee for Aliyah, Absorption and Diaspora and MK Razvozov.
