WASHINGTON, DC (Press Release)— Congressman Henry A. Waxman (D-California) joined those calling on the Palestinian Authority to do all it can to locate and return the three kidnapped Israeli teenagers.
“I strongly condemn the kidnapping of three Israeli teenagers by Palestinian extremists and call for their immediate release.,” Waxman said.
“This act of terrorism against Israel extends to the U.S. as well. One of the teenagers, Gilad Shaar, has deep family ties to Los Angeles, while another, Naftali Fraenkel, is a dual Israeli-American citizen.
“As we continue to gather details about who is responsible, I call on President Abbas and the new government of the Palestinian Authority to match their words with actions and do all they can to locate and safely return these teenagers.”
