Friendship Walk at Israel Fest May 15

Friendship WalkSAN DIEGO (Press Release) –Friendship Walk 2016 and the Israel Fest will be held Sunday, May 15, at San Diego Jewish Academy, 11860 Carmel Creek Rd., San Diego.

People with and without special needs are invited to run, jog, walk or roll on the wheelchair and stroller friendly 5K walk route. Afterwards, they may join in the celebration at Israel Fest, sponsored by the  Jewish Federation of San Diego.

The $20 Friendship Walk pre-registration fee includes a commemorative t-shirt, fruit and a bottle of  water. On-site registration will be  available for $30, (t-shirt quantities will be  limited). Visit FriendshipWalkSD.org and help the Friendship Circle make a difference in the lives of children, teens and adults with special needs.  There is no admission charge for the Israel Fest.

Community members can show their support for inclusion by joining our friends and walking with them on May 15th.

The Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide programs and support to the  families of individuals with special needs. In addition to offering fun social outings and events for families to enjoy, the Friendship Circle provides friendship to individuals with special needs through a network of teen volunteers who want to make a difference. In this way, volunteers discover the impact of selfless giving that will last them a lifetime.
