German ministers aim to combat anti-Semitism, protect journalists

Germany’s interior ministers agreed at the conclusion of their regular conference on Friday to do more to combat anti-Semitism and to protect journalists from attack while performing their work. Unified standards and rules are to be worked out to restrict anti-Israeli demonstrations held at synagogues or to prohibit them, the ministers of the 16 states plus the federal minister said at the conference held at Rust in the south-western state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
