San Diego Event Featuring Israeli Actress Expands to National Audience Due to Unprecedented Demand

(JNS) The land of Israel is “the most misunderstood country on earth,” according to Israeli actress, producer, author, and activist, Noa Tishby, who was recently named the Special Envoy for Combating Antisemitism & the Delegitimization of Israel by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As one of the nation’s most popular “positively Israel” keynote speakers, Tishby will headline Jewish National Fund-USA’s 11th Annual Love of Israel Brunch on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 10:30 am PT/ 1:30 pm ET, where she will address topics including Israel advocacy; connecting the next generation to the land of Israel; her book, Israel, A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth; and her career in the entertainment industry. Due to high demand after the in-person event at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in San Diego sold-out with nearly 500 people registered, the event will now be broadcasted virtually to a national audience.

The festive program celebrating the land and people of Israel will also highlight Jewish National Fund-USA’s visionary work in Israel’s Negev and Galilee regions and will feature remarks by Jewish National Fund-USA’s President, Dr. Sol Lizerbram, among other JNF-USA leaders, who will discuss the organization’s philanthropic projects impacting the global Jewish community.
