SAN DIEGO — Karen Parry, executive director of Hillel of San Diego, issued an estimable message on Christmas Day.
It said: “We know that all Jewish families are unique so whatever traditions you participate in today– be it eating Chinese food and watching movies or opening presents under the tree with mixed-heritage relatives, Hillel of San Diego hopes you have a great day! You are an important part of our Jewish community.”
