SAN DIEGO (SDJW) — Christina Fink, who has served for 8 years as program chair of the San Diego International Jewish Film Festival, will preview on Wednesday, Jan. 17 what’s on tap in this 34th year of the festival.
Sponsored by the Beth Israel Men’s Club, Fink’s presentation will be on Zoom for those who register via this website. The Jan. 31 to Feb. 11 festival will be based at the Lawrence Family JCC.
“This year’s festival features a selection of ground-breaking new films and talks with directors and filmmakers — deepening our community’s connection to Jewish culture, storytelling and each other,” according to Fink, who plans to talk about the challenges of previewing some 300 submissions to select the very best films for the festival.
