NATIONAL

U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen (Photo: Wikipedia)

Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-Nevada) in an interview with the Associated Press said Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem should be impeached. Rosen cited Noem’s explanations for the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti as Noem’s latest effort to “mislead the American public.”

Jacob Frey (Photo: Wikipedia)

President Donald Trump posted on Sunday on Truth Social a message that said in part: “The Mayor (Jacob Frey) and the Governor (Tim Walz) are inciting insurrection, with their pompous, dangerous, and arrogant rhetoric!  Instead, these sanctimonious political fools should be looking for the Billions of Dollars that has (sic) been stolen from the people of Minnesota and the United States of America. Let our ICE patriots do their job! 12,000 Illegal Alien Criminals, many of them violent, have been arrested and taken out of Minnesota.  If they were still there, you would see something far worse than you are witnessing today!”

Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-California) urged constituents “to make sure the Senate doesn’t give DHS another penny. They’re likely to vote on a funding bill this week that would increase the budget given to DHS, including ICE and CBP, but they can’t pass it without Democratic votes. (I proudly voted NO on this same bill in the House last week.) Call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3141 and urge your Senators to block DHS funding.”

INTERNATIONAL

Rabbi Elliot Mathias (Photo: Hasbara Fellowships)

Rabbi Eliot Mathias presented Leo Terrell, chair of the U.S. Department of Justice Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, with Aish’s King David Award in recognition of Terrell’s “distinguished and courageous advocacy on behalf of the Jewish people and the State of Israel, particularly his unwavering defense of Jewish students on American university campuses” during a ceremony at Aish’s main Yeshiva campus. Mathias, Aish’s Director of Programming and Partnerships, said: “You are a person who not only has moral clarity, but you bring it to the forefront. You take responsibility, and you’re standing up for what is right. And that is so refreshing in today’s world and so noble.”
