WASHINGTON, D.C. (Press Release) – The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum welcomes President Trump’s appointment of Jeffrey Miller of Florida as Chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, the Museum’s governing board.
Miller has served on the Council since his appointment by President Trump in 2021 and has played an important role in the Museum’s national outreach and fundraising efforts.
“I was honored to have been appointed by President Trump to the Council five years ago, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity now to serve as its chairman. It is a profound privilege to help lead this vital institution, and I thank the President for his trust and confidence,” said Miller.
“At a time when we are witnessing a disturbing rise in antisemitism and Holocaust denial around the world, the mission of the Museum has never been more urgent. We must ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust are never forgotten and that ‘Never Again’ is not simply a phrase, but a commitment — one that demands vigilance, moral clarity, and action. I look forward to working closely with my fellow Council members and the dedicated Museum staff to strengthen Holocaust education, confront hatred wherever it appears, and preserve the truth of history for future generations.”
Miller is the founder and CEO of Miller Strategies, LLC, and has provided strategic counsel to prominent political figures and Fortune 500 companies throughout the country for 30 years. In addition to his service on the Museum’s Council, he also serves on the national board of the Republican Jewish Coalition and the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida board of directors. Miller served our country in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1992 to 1998.
The Council consists of 55 presidential appointees in addition to ten Congressional representatives and three ex-officio members from the Departments of State, Interior, and Education.
