A pair of national Jewish communal organizations have announced personnel changes at the top of their organizational charts
Evan Bernstein succeeds the long serving Daniel S. Mariaschin as chief executive officer of B’nai B’rith International. Bernstein is the inaugural vice president of community relations at the Jewish Federations of North America. Previous to that, he worked for a bevy of Jewish organizations, including the ADL, AIPAC, and Community Security Service.
Meanwhile, American Friends of Tel Aviv University has named Arie E. Steinberg as its senior vice president of development and planned giving. Most recently Steinberg served as senior director of development at Americans for Ben-Gurion University. Steinberg previously served as National Director of Planned Giving and Endowments at Orthodox Union. Before that, he served as Executive Director, Midwest, for American Friends of Bar-Ilan University.
