United Kingdom Counter Terrorism Policing arrested a seventh man, a 22-year-old British national, on Tuesday in connection with a plot against RAF Fairford from which American bombers flew sorties against Iran earlier this year.
Just this last weekend, all the American bombers returned to their home bases in the United States on orders from the Pentagon.

A federal judge has delayed until Oct. 29 an order restraining the U.S. Department of Education from disclosing the identity of foreign donors to the nation’s universities and colleges.
The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law said the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) raises concerns “about transparency and the public’s right to know who is funding our higher education institutions. While legitimate privacy concerns involving individual donors should be appropriately considered, they should not obscure the need for transparency around significant funding from foreign governments, state controlled entities and other institutions.”
A Brandeis Center spokesperson said: “These universities receive significant taxpayer funding, conduct sensitive research and educate our future leaders. The public should be able to examine whether foreign financial relationships are influencing academic independence, university policies, discrimination or campus anti-Semitism. Knowing only the country, amount and year of funding is not enough. You cannot follow the money if you do not know who is providing it.”
