Five demands of the Jewish “nonnegotiable’ movement are being popularized at a variety of Michigan college campuses by students from the University of Michigan.
The demands are:
- Jewish safety, including the safety of Zionist Jews, is nonnegotiable.
- The right of Jews to define their own identities is nonnegotiable.
- Jewish sovereignty in Israel is nonnegotiable.
- The full participation of Jews, including Zionist Jews, in American political life is nonnegotiable.
- An affirmative vision for a better future for the Middle East is nonnegotiable.
Political candidates like Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed are being asked to sign a pledge endorsing these policies. So far, he has not responded.
