The term “Resistance” chosen by the undemocratic portion of the American electorate who refuses to accept the result of the elections is deeply insulting to the voters who elected Trump, not so much because they like him (most don’t) but because they were tired of the abuses committed by Obama and an out-of-control and out-of-bounds Democratic party that doesn’t deserve to be called Democratic any more. The term “Resistance” is used only when there is an invasion by a foreign army. For the current liberal refuseniks who reject the right of their fellow Americans to vote differently thean they do is absolutely outtrageous and unacceptable. Their intolerance and fanaticism towards what THEY think is the only way to view the problems we face is extremely dangerous for the health and ultimately survival of our democracy. This self-annointed “resistance” is like the “antifa” movement which they have birthed: the exact opposite of what they claim to be. The “antifascists” are the real fascists we must oppose, and the “resistants” are the real oppressors. Beware the inversion of reality they want to foist on the rest of us.
