SAN DIEGO (SDJW) — Photographer Fred Kropveld visited Tifereth Israel Synagogue on Friday, June 14, Flag Day.

He photographed the aron kodesh (Holy Ark) of the Conservative congregation to which he affixed both the American and Israeli flags.

Outside, Old Glory fluttered near the synagogue building.
