SAN DIEGO — L’Shana Tova U’Metukah! May you be inscribed in the Book of Life for a good and sweet year, 5786!
As we do each Shabbat, we will pause publication on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, starting at nightfall today, and again will pause publication on Kol Nidre night, Wednesday, Oct. 1, through the end of Yom Kippur on Thursday, Oct. 2.
We want to wish all of our readers and the wider Jewish community a year of health, prosperity, peace, and happiness. I’m sure that San Diego Jewish World’s many volunteer contributors far and wide happily endorse this wish.

We hope you have a healthy and wonderful year ahead L’shana Tova.
And the same to you, Don and Nancy, from Bob and me, with emphasis on health and peace.
