  1. Blame game. Blame the federal government and federal policies for county mismanagement. A record high 806 BILLION DOLLARS in gross assessed property generating nearly 8 BILLION Dollars in tax revenue. Yet, the roads are terrible, flood channels, waterways, dams are left in disrepair. Meanwhile nearly half of the county’s 8+ BILLION DOLLAR Budget goes to Health and Human Services programs with more than 1 BILLION DOLLARS for MENTAL HEALTH? County residents must be crazy to allow this type of spending.
