Malcolm Hoenlein to keynote Men’s Event

SAN DIEGO – Each year, the Jewish Federation of San Diego County provides many opportunities to connect as a community while helping address the needs of Jews in San Diego, Israel and around the world. Five signature events will be presented under the theme of “Doing a World of Good” as part of the 2012 Campaign, led by Vice-Chair of Jewish Philanthropy Theresa Dupuis.

First up is The Men’s Event, set for Tuesday, October 25. This is the largest annual gathering of men in the San Diego Jewish community and will help kick off to the 2012 Federation Campaign. This year’s theme of “Generations of Love & Hope” will celebrate Family Philanthropy.

This year’s Men’s Event will be like no other. Held at a new and exciting venue, The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier, the evening will highlight philanthropic stories of fathers and sons in meaningful and heartfelt ways. In addition, Macolm Hoenlein, executive vice president of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations will address “Building a Strong, Cohesive Jewish Community in Today’s World.”
