LA JOLLA, California (Press Release) –The Lawrence Family JCC is offering a class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11 with artist Ilanit Shalev on how to create your own fused glass mezuzah. Shalev was born and raised in Israel. While residing in Portland, Oregon, she studied at the “World Center” for glass. She made a passionate study of colors, transparency and translucency as main qualities of glass.
