SAN DIEGO (Press Release) – The entire San Diego legislative delegation, led by Senator Mark Wyland, have joined together to honor Jenny and Julian Josephson with a legislative resolution.
The Josephsons will be receiving this honor at the annual Friends of the Israel Defense Forces gala on January 21. The award recognizes their long time community support and philanthropy. The Josephsons have been in business in San Diego for over 30 years operating numerous Burger King locations throughout California, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. As Burger Kings Licensees, the Josephson’s have provided leadership and support to the USO, Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, Rachel’s House and many other noted religious and educational organizations.
Additionally, the Josephsons have demonstrated outstanding dedication and generosity to the Soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces. Julian Josephson is the National President of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, as well as the San Diego Chapter Chairman.
The resolution has been co-authored by Senators Joel Anderson, Christine Kehoe, Juan Vargas and Assemblymembers Toni Atkins, Marty Block, Nathan Fletcher, Martin Garrick, Kevin Jeffries, and Brian Jones.
