SAN DIEGO — As San Diego Jewish World continues to expand, we are looking for reviewers who know how to find the Jewish story. We have openings for reviewers in the following categories: Art, Books, Dance, Popular Music, Plays, Records, and Television. These are volunteer positions that afford reviewers opportunities to attend performances or receive materials at home for review. If you are interested in becoming part of our SDJW cultural arts team, please send at least two samples of your writing along with a resume to editor Donald H. Ideal candidates are college-level students who are contemplating a career in journalism and would like to build their portfolios, and retired persons with a love of the cultural arts who have always wanted to dabble in journalism. Having been in the journalism field for over 50 years, as a writer, editor and teacher, Harrison is willing to work on a one-to-one with newcomers to the field who demonstrate a sincere desire to learn.
