JERUSALEM (Tazpit)–Adele Biton, a five year old victim who was seriously wounded in a 2013 rock throwing terror attack, died Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Adele’s sustained a critical head injury on March 2013, near the city of Ariel. A group of Palestinians threw rocks at her family’s car which made it smash into a truck. Adele was only three years old at that time.
Due to the severity of her injuries Adele was hospitalized for 18 months, and was only able to return home six months ago.
Adele was hospitalized on Monday, because her health deteriorated. She died of pneumonia, though her mother stated that she believes the severity of her illness was magnified by the injuries that Adele sustained in 2013.
