  1. To be more accurate and less hypocritical, HIAS should have mentioned here how much they stand to lose in federal dollars by losing so many “customers”. Just like Catholic Relief Services and a few other such agencies, the refugee issue has nothing to do with high principles and everything to do with money. They don’t care who the refugees they bring in are, how well they are likely to integrate in America and how well vetted they have been. The higher the number, the more funds are cashed in. Obama opened the doors wide to everyone, including some of the worst elements. Trump was elected to close that spigot and bring it under tight control. He is doing the job he was mandated to do by the American electorate.
