SAN DIEGO — Our partners in Sha’ar HaNegev and at JFNA (Jewish Federations of North America) have shared with us some important updates as the conflict between Israel and Iran continues.
While the Iranian regime continues targeting Israeli civilian areas and the pace of incoming missile fire has slowed, the situation remains volatile. Our friends in Israel are weary, and they deeply appreciate the moral support from our San Diego community.

We want to thank all who joined this morning’s webinar, Operation Rising Lion: Update from Israel and Sha’ar HaNegev. If you were unable to attend, we encourage you to watch the recording here to hear directly from our partners in Israel. Please watch the recording here.
Due to the widening of the conflict and growing civilian needs, Jewish Federation of San Diego has reopened our Israel Emergency Campaign. If you wish to help fund the emergency needs of Israelis, including our partners in Sha’ar HaNegev, you can directly support them through the emergency campaign. Our JFNA partners are conducting an in-depth critical needs assessment, and we will share with you their findings in the days to come.
