Satire: The ICE and National Guard Hymn

SAN DIEGO —

From the Home Depots of LA
To the streets of Portland OR;
Forget about foreign threats.
We have launched a civil war.
We will fight to keep this nation white.
Remove riffraff from here.
Dangerous aliens and subversives.
Are the scapegoats whom we fear.

We claim that we are fighting crime
And radicals who demonstrate.
We’ll mistreat those we cart away
From blue cities and blue states.
In these made-up emergencies,
We must imprison or deport.
Lower Judges rule we should desist,
But not the Supreme Court.

As we’re deployed to Chicago
And Washington D.C.,
Another war is being fought.
Against Donald’s enemies.
If the Founding Fathers are looking down.
They surely must be crying.
Their Constitution is ignored
And Democracy is dying.
