SAN DIEGO – Naomi Ackerman will perform her one-woman show “Flowers Aren’t Enough” at Tifereth Israel Synagogue at 2 p.m. (doors open at 1:00 p.m.), on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Ackerman’s performance tells of the gripping story of Michal, a young woman trapped in an abusive relationship. Based on true stories, Ackerman weaves voices from diverse cultures, creating an unforgettable, socially driven narrative that comes to life on stage. With over 2,000 performances across seven continents, this impactful show has been translated into Arabic, English, Hebrew, and Spanish, touching hearts and raising awareness worldwide.
This is more than just a play—it’s a compelling story that everyone should see. Through raw emotion and honest storytelling, the performance sheds light on important issues that resonate with people of all ages and backgrounds.
