LA MESA, California – Hebrew Free Loan reports its new Furlough Bridge Loan is available now for furloughed federal employees and contractors in the San Diego Jewish community.
To qualify, applicants must be federal employees (including contractors) in the San Diego Jewish community who are directly affected by the federal furlough. The loan amount is up to $2,500. The guarantor is waived for this specific program only.
Applicants must have a minimum FICO score of 700 or higher and no collections or bad debt on their credit report. The repayment will begin upon the federal government resuming pay, and specific terms will be set on a case-by-case basis.
