SAN DIEGO — To better serve you, our publication is transitioning from one e-mail service to another.
One reason that we are doing this is because the previous e-mail service was unfortunately inconsistent. Some people signed up for it, yet never received it. Some people received it one day, but not the next.
Another reason for the changeover is that we are in the process of modernizing San Diego Jewish World, with a new, easier-to-read format coming, that will adjust as easily to your mobile devices as it does to your desktop and laptop computers.
Please note the form at the right side of this page. If you enter your email for a free subscription, then each morning, you will receive an email spotlighting the most recent 20 articles that were posted on San Diego Jewish World. The free email will be interactive, enabling you to click on the summary of whatever story you would like to read in full. Your click will bring the story up to your computer’s screen.
If you are receiving a summary in the old format, we suggest that you reenter your subscription on this form, and then, after the new summary arrives, cancel or “unsubscribe” to the old one. That way you won’t miss any issues.
Our publication is written by volunteer correspondents in San Diego, across the United States, and in various locales, in particular Israel, around the world. At any given time we have more than 50 correspondents writing at various frequencies on a great variety of subjects, among them: religion, politics, travel, theater, human interest features, music, sightseeing, humor, and books.
Our slogan is “There is a Jewish story everywhere” and we know that there are Jewish stories for every kind of interest. We try hard to provide them to you as a free public service.
