AI App Now Helps Mothers with Recipes, Carpools, and More

December 24, 2024

EL PASO, Texas – “In all the professions out there, mothering is the most important job in the world and one of the most overlooked,” said Vivs CEO and Founder Brandon Lurie on a WhatsApp call from Jerusalem.

Lurie named his company Vivs in honor of his mother Vivian. Back then, there were no computers to help make the job easier. Lurie launched his website on Sunday, Dec. 1 and has many more options that will be added and updated in the coming weeks.

These additions include AI-involved reminders, arranging carpools, auto-scheduling appointments, automated returns, developmental progress for your children, and much more.

Lurie mentioned this would all be included in a downloadable app in 2025 so it would be easily accessible for the mom-on-the-run. Since the launch of the website, they have over 200 subscribers and get a few more each day from word of mouth.

When Lurie first contacted me, I signed up to see what this movement was all about. Right now, “the morning dose” email gets delivered daily with easy-on-the-go recipes tailored to the needs of your families with specific allergies or dietary restrictions.

Vivs encourages mothers of all religious backgrounds and all over the world. Lurie mentioned there would be a Shabbat option added to give easy Shabbat recipes. If the family is Mormon, they would be able to select recipes without caffeine or alcohol to honor their practice.

Lurie also mentioned this section would be updated to include recipes tailored to what you have in your pantry. AI is able to scan and keep logs of what is currently in your pantry and refrigerator.

Lurie mentioned that carpooling would be facilitated for those who are also connected through Vivs.

Lurie and his wife Talia live in Jerusalem with their children.   As their website states, “We’re just getting started.” Click here for more information on Vivs and to sign up.
