  1. As a peruvian citizen; I’m ashamed for the involvement of three consecutive peruvian governments in this scandal and unfortunately it’s not going to get any better. March 17th 2017 is the scheduled sentencing day for Odebrecht transnational’s former executives, on December 21st 2016 the company pleaded guilty in US District Court in New York. Their plea agreement includes a reduction of a millionaire fine up to 2.6 billions plus their full cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the US and the affected jurisdictions. In a follow up statement by peruvian congressman Mauricio Mulder he denied any wrongdoing by former president Alan Garcia Peres his party leader.
