Killer in Black church also hated Jews

PHILADELPHIA–With the rationale of bigots inherently difficult to comprehend, new anti-Semitic angles in the Charleston massacre emerged over the weekend. Murder suspect Dylann Storm Roof’s reported take on Jews corresponds with that of a like-minded Brit twit who plans commotion across the pond.

Roof’s anti-Semitic sentiments, almost as repugnant as his feelings about the nine African-Americans he allegedly killed inside a South Carolina church last Wednesday night, June 17, are reportedly posted on a website called “Last Rhodesian” which were uncovered on Saturday, The New York Daily News reported.

The day before, The Jewish Chronicle of London revealed plans for a July 4 anti-Israel demonstration in Golders Green, northwest London, to destroy Israeli flags in the center of town, home to a large Orthodox Jewish community. Neo-Nazis will also be treated to a “private ceremony” to burn the Talmud.

White supremacist activist Joshua Bonehill-Paine wrote on his website that the Talmud-burning would be “in recognition of its racist anti-white teachings.”

Likewise, Roof differentiates Jews from white people when he writes, “How about we protect the White race and stop fighting for the Jews.”

He also writes of Jews: “The issue with Jews is not their blood, but their identity. I think that if we could somehow destroy the Jewish identity, then they wouldn’t cause much of a problem. …Just like n……, most Jews are always thinking about the fact that they are Jewish.”

One can only guess how we are “fighting for the Jews,” but Bonehill-Paine bluntly wrote on his website last Monday, June 15, that destroying Israeli flags would be “in solidarity with those oppressed by the illegal state of Israel…This will be a show of solidarity by English people who recognise that Israel is a corrupt state which is responsible for horrific war crimes.”

Bonehill-Paine promised repeats of the Golders Green rally in other Jewish communities during the summer, according to The Chronicle.

While Bonehill-Paine’s tactics are crude, his fellow English neo-Nazis in upcountry Birmingham committed criminal offenses. Their faces concealed, these bigots were seen in a video spray-painting a Star of David onto the gates of a Birmingham park, with the words “bankers” and “1%“, The Chronicle reported. The video then shows them climbing the menorah to hang a Third Reich swastika flag and a placard with the logo for National Action, a neo-Nazi organization.

Birmingham Jews might be rich, but at least they were not accused of colluding with “a corrupt state” more than 2,000 miles to the east to oppress the poor Palestinians, as were their tribesmen in Golders Green.

Just a few weeks ago, a friend and co-worker who grew up in Birmingham, population 1 million, defended his dissertation by enduring a tortuous interrogation conducted by a collegiate panel. He had to prove he knew his stuff before they would confer a doctorate on him.

I tried to imagine Roof and Bonehill-Paine defending their “dissertation” about Jews, blacks and other groups in front of such a panel. Their motives are so thin and sweeping that their accusations cannot stand up to objective analysis.

My friend, who is black, would have left them in the dust. He informed us last week of the doctorate he earned based on his dissertation about criminal justice. What can Roof and Bonehill-Paine tell us about humanity?
