SAN DIEGO — Rabbi/ Cantor Arlene Bernstein, currently serving as the acting senior rabbi of Congregation Beth Israel, will share the story of her journey first into the cantorate and later into the rabbinate at buffet dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, at the temple, 9001 Towne Centre Drive, San Diego.
Cost for the meeting, which includes the deli buffet, is $18 for those who RSVP in advance, and $20 for those who simply arrive at the door.
The meeting, sponsored by the Beth Israel Men’s Club, is open to all.
