Jewish Life Television’s Brad Pomerance Headlines Jewish Heritage Journey to Poland

LOS ANGELES (Press Release) — Over the last several years, Jewish Life Television’s Brad Pomerance has hosted and produced JLTV’s global travel series Air Land & Sea, where the JLTV team voyages around the world to uncover the trials and tribulations of the Jewish people near and far.  After each trip, JLTV viewers have the unique opportunity to watch full-length television episodes that delve deeply into the Jewish story – both historically and modern-day – of all the locations that the Air Land & Sea team visit.

Brad and his crew have featured Barbados, Cuba, Czech, Germany, Jamaica, Japan, Malta, Morocco, Nevis, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with more voyages to come.  Air Land & Sea has been honored with multiple awards, including 1st Place/Outstanding Documentary from the Religion News Association and Best in Class (TV-Radio-Internet) from the Religion Communicators Council.

Brad is now partnering with Jewish Heritage Travel and invites one and all to join him on a ten-day journey to Poland in October 2023. This voyage will include visits to the historic cities of Kraków, Łódź, Lublin, and Warsaw, and one of Brad’s ancestral hometowns, Chmielnik.  Given that 80% of Ashkenazi or Eastern European Jews trace their ancestral roots directly to Polish lands, Brad welcomes the opportunity to re-trace centuries of Jewish life in Poland. “Three of my grandparents are Polish, so at a certain level, going to Poland feels like coming home, to the place where my family and so many of our families lived for countless generations,” said Brad Pomerance.

Noted Polish Historian Dr. Tomasz Cebulski, a highly respected expert in the history of Polish Jewry, will join Brad during the entire voyage. Travelers will not only discover the history of the Jews of Poland but will meet Polish Jews that are helping to revitalize Polish Jewry today.  Participants will meet members of Krakow’s Jewish community who are supporting Ukrainian refugees displaced after last year’s Russian invasion.

Brad invites you to join him on this trip to Poland, which will surely be both enjoyable and impactful.  For more information, visit Jewish Heritage Travel in Poland – http://jltv.jhtravel.org or email brad@jltv.tv.
