Feds prosecute antisemites based on information supplied by the Secure Community Network

CHICAGO (Press Release) — The Secure Community Network (SCN) applauds the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia following the announcement of a fourth federal prosecution in the past year involving threats targeting the Jewish community.

The latest case charges a Houston man with transmitting violent interstate threats after allegedly leaving a profane voicemail for employees of an Atlanta-based company on 24 April 2026. According to federal prosecutors, the defendant stated, “You’re a bunch of Jewish f**ots… I’ll find you and I’ll f**ng kill you.” The defendant was arrested on 09 July 2026.

The case follows three federal prosecutions since August 2025 involving threats against Jewish institutions and individuals in Georgia, including a synagogue, a Chabad center, and Jewish employees of another Atlanta-based company. Collectively, the four cases involve defendants from Georgia, Texas, and Maryland, underscoring how threats against the Jewish community increasingly cross state lines and require close coordination between federal law enforcement and trusted community partners.

“We are grateful to U.S. Attorney Theodore Hertzberg, the FBI, and all participating law enforcement agencies for their commitment to protecting Jewish communities and holding those responsible for making threats accountable,” said Michael Masters, SCN National Director & CEO. “This case is a reminder of the importance of timely reporting and close collaboration between communities and law enforcement. SCN is proud to support these partnerships and help ensure that threats are identified, shared, and addressed.”

The U.S. Attorney’s Office recognized SCN’s role in facilitating information sharing that supported some of these investigations. SCN continues to work alongside affected institutions and law enforcement partners by coordinating threat reporting, preserving relevant information, and sharing actionable information to support efforts to protect communities and hold perpetrators accountable.

Last year, SCN referred more than 850 threats to life to state and urban fusion centers and the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center (NTOC), which led to the arrests of individuals threatening Jewish and other faith-based communities. In 2026, SCN became the first and only faith-based organization to receive a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) SAFETY Act Designation, recognizing its proprietary anti-terrorism technologies and threat management systems as Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT).
