Israel Cautious About Retaliating Against Economically Troubled Lebanon

An Arab Knesset Member, affiliated with Meretz, announced that neither Meretz nor the Arab party Ram, would support the government if it attacked Lebanon. Some days earlier, there was a rocket attack on northern Israel, attributed to a Palestinian group in Lebanon. Apparently, there was no significant damage. Arab Protestors Burn Swastika Inside Star of David

Palestinians erected a burning swastika and Star of David on Saturday night during riots in the village of Beita in Samaria, near the evacuated outpost of Evyatar. Israel Opens Liaison Office in Rabat, Morocco

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid inaugurated the Israeli liaison office in Rabat, Morocco, on Thursday, formally re-establishing ties between the two nations. StandWithUS Calls Out UNC Class on Israel/Palestine

The Jewish watchdog group StandWithUs called on the University of North Carolina to take action regarding a recurring class on Israel to be taught in the fall by an anti-Israel activist. Kylie Broderick, a Ph.D. student, is scheduled to teach a class titled “The Conflict Over Israel/Palestine.” Broderick has a history of making anti-Israel remarks, including a May 2021 tweet that said “Palestinians are being murdered for just being alive & bc [because] they’re inconvenient to Israel & its patron, the US imperialist death cult.” [JNS.org]
