NETANYA, Israel — Do United Nations diplomats ever read the numerous anti-Israel resolutions put in front of them? Or do they automatically raise their hand in a five-decade automatic knee-jerk reaction? I ask because I read some of the conditions of a recently approved stab at Israel on 18 November 2020. In 1971, at one of the monthly lectures held at the child-guidance clinic where I worked, Dr. Marshall Klaus came to talk about his research on maternal infant bonding. He had been to South America and the United States and was now studying the same in Switzerland. As the only bilingual staff member, I became his translator since he could not speak French. After his lecture, he asked if I would be willing to accompany him as his translator during his travels through Switzerland. At the time, I was working on my Ph.D. thesis on children services in French-speaking Switzerland and thought we would have similar interests. I accepted his offer. [Natasha Josefowitz, ACSW, Ph.D]

…The agony lasted for eight hours, until the day I thought would never end finally did. I had not baited a hook nor cast a line. I just endured the worst day in my life. I was so traumatized by the experience that six years later the Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard Officer Candidate School I attended wrote in my service jacket that I was not to go to sea. Seasickness was one of the motivating factors that propelled me toward flight school. [Ira Spector]

PHILADELPHIA — In a fever dream of a news conference Thursday, Donald Trump’s legal team pledged to finally lay out its evidence of a “massive, well-funded conspiracy” among Democratic officials in several U.S. cities and shadowy foreign actors to hijack the 2020 election in Pennsylvania and other battleground states. But once it had, it amounted to
