POWAY, California — Kever Avot is the Jewish custom that we mark the approaching High Holy Days with annual visits to the graves of departed loved ones.  We speak to them and draw on their memories to inspire our personal formulations for how we want to live in this world for the coming year, making their example a touchstone for us and thus keeping their memory living in this world.
