CBI will honor Berk, Bernstein and Mills on May 6

SAN DIEGO  (Press Release) — Beth Israel will celebrate three honorees at its annual fundraiser this year, Eat, Pray, Sing!.  Rabbi Michael Berk will be honored for his ten years of dedicated service as Senior Rabbi, Rabbi/Cantor Arlene Bernstein will be recognized for 20 years of service as cantor and most recently as rabbi as well, and Lesley Mills, Executive Director, will be honored for ten years of devotion and commitment to Beth Israel. Their combined 40 years of service has inspired and guided the congregation.

The Eat, Pray, Sing! fundraiser will take place at Beth Israel on Saturday, May 6, at 6 p.m. The night will include cuisine by Giuseppe Restaurants and Fine Catering, specialty cocktails from Snake Oil Cocktail Co. and high energy entertainment by NRG Dueling Pianos. In addition, the event will feature a silent auction with an impressive array of items on which to bid. Returning for the second year, Dan Cohen, three-time Emmy award winning news anchor of CBS News 8 This Morning and CBS News 8, will serve as emcee for the night.
