SAN DIEGO−President Trump invited House Republicans to the Rose Garden to celebrate their passage of the American Health Care Act. This is like a Major League Baseball team holding a ticker tape parade after winning one game of the World Series.

Despite its promises to combat opioid addition and drug smuggling, the Trump Administration is considering cutting the budget for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy by 95 %. It assumes that Americans won’t have access to illegal drugs or want to use them once the Wall is built and all the drug trafficking immigrants are deported.

Emmanuel Macron handily won election as the next president of France affirming the country’s commitment to its revolutionary heritage of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Not to be outdone, Donald Trump rededicated himself to his core principles: Celebrity, Duplicity, and Plutocracy.

The FCC announced that it would “take appropriate action” against Steven Colbert for the expletives he used to denounce Donald Trump. This is a prelude to the FCC changing its name to the Federal Censorship Commission.

Sally Yates is scheduled to testify to the Senate that she warned the Trump Administration that there was evidence that Michael Flynn was compromised by his connections to Russia. In turn the Trump Administration warned the Senate that there is evidence that Yates is compromised by her connections to Obama.
